Our Story
Nestled in Akron's North Side, Akron Recording Company combines the beauty of analog recording with the industry standard digital recording mediums to create a timeless sound, with the ability to adjust and meet many needs of todays artists. Our vision is to provide an outlet for local artists, songwriters, designers, and music lovers to join and get connected to Akron's growing creative community and beyond through audio recording, curated shows, social events, compilation records and more!
How To Support Us
We are offering mixing and mastering services remotely! If musicians are recording at home we can help them finalize their projects! Also we are releasing a compilation on record store day 04.18.20, you can donate and pre-order a vinyl record! We also have other merch for sale! We can do tape bounces remotely as well as audio editing. Clients can book time for any of our in person services now for the summer or fall (contingent on the virus & regulations)!
